Regenerative Land Design
We help individuals, families, communities and organizations design, plan and create beautiful, practical, productive, and resilient landscapes through a whole-systems regenerative design process.
We offer books, guides, webinars, courses, mentorship and consulting. |

We work with homeowners, families, landowners, homesteaders, hobby farmers, and working farms seeking practical, productive, and resilient land systems. Projects may include: Backyard gardens and edible landscapes - Home orchards and food forests - Homesteads and hobby farms - Market gardens and diversified farms - Animal and grazing systems - Soil, water, fertility, and habitat systems - Retreat properties and land-based enterprises - Small and large agricultural properties
|
|
We work with organizations responsible for larger, shared, educational, public-facing, or multi-stakeholder landscapes. Projects may include: Schools and educational campuses - Churches and nonprofit properties - Corporate and institutional campuses - Community and healing gardens - Public parks and municipal landscapes - Resorts, retreat centers, and wellness properties - Villages, neighborhoods, and eco-villages - Community farms and regional initiatives

We work with gardeners, homesteaders, hobby farmers, and working farms seeking practical, regenerative soil solutions. Our Soil Assessment & Fertility Consulting helps clients understand their soil’s direction, condition, and context, then develop a tailored fertility strategy for gardens, orchards, market gardens, pasture systems, rotational grazing operations, and mixed-production farms. Recommendations may include soil-building plants, compost and mulch strategies, biological fertility support, water and soil movement considerations, and long-term management guidance.

Our Permaculture Design Certification program offers the most comprehensive learning pathway. It brings together the full regenerative design process with the foundational systems needed to create resilient land-based projects. We offer it both recorded, for a self paced experience, and with a live cohort. Topics include: Permaculture ethics and principles - Observation and pattern literacy - Crafting mission, vision, and goals - Human and regional context - Site research and landscape analysis - Soil and fertility systems - Water systems - Plant systems - Orchards and food forests - Animal systems - Energy and materials - Buildings and infrastructure - Social and community systems - Conceptual designs - Master conceptual planning - Implementation and adaptation

San Clemente Farmstead - San Clemente, California
A one-acre urban farmstead integrating intensive food production, rainwater harvesting, fruit trees, medicinal plants, micro-greens, education, community gatherings, and local policy work. The site became both a productive home landscape and a living classroom where permaculture courses, workshops, farm enterprises, and community initiatives grew together. CASE STUDY COMING SOON

Desert Bloom Farm - Southern California High Desert
A larger land-based project shaped by dry-land conditions, limited water, extreme climate, homestead goals, food production, education, and the realities of developing land and community in a challenging environment. The project became an important transition between the San Clemente farmstead and the later development of Sun and Bloom Farms in Missouri. CASE STUDY COMING SOON
